Exclamation FOR SALE: Nikon 35mm Film Scanner **Price Drop**

Nikon Coolscan 4000 ED - 35mm film negative/slide scanner. Scan your old classic astrophotos today!

Despite buying this film scanner new approximately four years ago, it has only recently been used to scan astrophotos taken with slide film. The unit is in excellent condition.

Too many advanced features to mention, but here are a few:
  • 4,000 dpi optical resolution, 48-bit color
  • 14 bit color channels
  • 16x multi sampling
  • IEEE 1394 FireWire interface card and cable included; PC and Mac compatible
  • LED light source for accurate color consistency
  • Nikon Scan 3.0 software - A newer version is available for download
  • Digital ICE, ROC and GEM.
  • Supports film in strip, slide, and Advanced Photo System (APS) formats
  • Documentation manual provided
The scanner would suit astrophotographers still using film or the family man with loads of old film negatives they would like to digitise for longevity or enhancement purposes. Much cheaper to do it yourself than take it to a professional agency.

For those interested, a review can be found at http://www.steves-digicams.com/2001_...lscan4000.html. Note prices listed in URL are $US.

A extraordinary low price - A$850 -(was A$1100) thats $250 dollars off!!, and for good measure - free shipping to AU buyers.

PM me if you are interested. Thanks for looking.

Jase has gone mad, Jase has gone mad... Jase has gone completely mad...
