Dark Nebulae B276 and B79

This is a picture of a dark nebula Barnard 276 and Barnard 79, opaque clouds of dust and gas that block the light of stars behind them.

This is a stack of 35 x 240-seconds for a total of 140 minutes of exposure.

It was shot with an STC Optics Astro-Multispectra light-pollution filter.

That's turned out really nice Jerry. With the 240s exposures, are most of the stars white or are they just saturated?
Thinking about doing some stuff like this with my DSLR

Hi Colin,

Thanks.

I think the brighter stars are just white-colored stars. The fainter stars are red.
