ZWO ASI034MC Camera

I am offering for sale my ZWO ASI034MC camera which is virtually brand new. I bought it earlier this year thinking I would build a video viewfinder but have decided against it now. So the camera is for sale. Details of the camera from the ZWO website are here:

https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com...si034mc-color/

Current new price direct from ZWO is $128USD ($174 AUD). I have attached photos below. Note this camera has not been out of its box except for once when it arrived when it was fitted to a guidescope for testing. So in the original packaging.

I am asking $125 plus shipping to your door in Australia (add $12 for registered parcel post).
If your interested in this ASI034MC just PM me here on IIS.
Thanks for looking.

Hi. I tried to find the answer in the manual, but can you use this as a guider without a PC?

Even though it has a ST4 port, I am not sure if you also need to be connected to a PC though USB.

Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your question. No it is not a guide camera per se although perhaps you could rig something up. It has an RJ port so you can connect it to your PC/laptop. It was purchased with video viewfinding in mind not guiding.

Thanks for the prompt answer. I was looking for a solution that I could use in the field without a laptop.

Guess Ill have to keep looking.

Good luck with the sale.
