Prom on the Sun. 2 April & 3 April

Hi All, I captured this image of a prominence on the Sun today. It has been hanging around for a while now. Conditions were poor and I had to wait to get a pic thru light cloud late in the day. Single exposure with a Canon 550d camera attached to a Lunt 100 Ha scope. Thanks for viewing. I hope you saw it. Cheers, John W.

PS. I have added another pic taken next day on April 3rd. This one was taken mid morning and the same prom is still there. It appears to be in a slightly different position but is not (due to Sun position being different in sky).

Nice captures John, thought the large one might lift off today, glad it hasn't as it's providing some great visual views.
