M45 repro with Pix

This is a repro of M45 taken 22/9, 18 x3min atik 383l osc. WO FLT 110

darks and bias but no flats

I purchased Pix Insight about 4 weeks ago and am working my way through it, this is an awesome programme if you put in the time, i have barely scratched the surface of what it can achieve but once you set up a workflow it becomes more understandable.
There were horrible gradients and colour noise initially and some remains but compared with my processing with photoshop the result is much better. I'm sure photoshop gurus would be able to achieve the same result but i found the process more automated.
I'm sold.

Thanks for looking
George

Aw George, that's lovely. The detail in the wisps of nebula around the stars is great. PI working well for you.

That's a good start, George. If PixInsight clicks for you then it's a great processing environment.

Cheers,
Rick.
