Regrease NEQ6 - what to use?

Looking at doing a service on my NEQ6 Pro, what is the best grease to use for re-lube? I have heard that Superlube is popular in the US and I can buy it online here. What is the consensus?

hi,

I've tuned two mounts with Superlube and cannot recommend it more. its really good and allowed a fine mesh with very low backlash.
the type of grease does affect the amount you can mesh without binding.
you can buy it online from Aus.
I got it from here
http://www.mektronics.com.au/super-l...-3oz-tube.html

Cheers
Alistair

Lithium grease (white) has always been highly recommended however I recently used superlube Teflon based pfte grease and my heq5 is performing brilliantly.

I bought mine at mektronics.

The tube of Superlube is cheap enough, but the postage is 3x the cost
of the grease. [according to their website.]

I bought three tubes, if you want one let me know, cost price plus the actual cost of postage. Probably a couple of dollars.

Superlube is it. When looking at buying one I found the cheapest supplier was an Australia ebay store. Every other place had ridiculous shipping charges.

Damn, I just bought one of those tubes with the exorbitant shipping cost. Ah well.

Can't speak to the efficacy of the lube, I've never used another one so I don't even know what to look for. I think I saw another post on here recommending it so that's what I went with.

For my old mount with the RA gear open to the elements Superlube is my choice. Second choice is a bar of yellow laundry soap I have a broter who designs gearboxes for a living. He said in Victorian times soap was used as a lubricant on gears...works pretty good too.
