Smokin seven sisters with genesis

Hi all.
Finally got around and disassembled the genesis and gave it a good clean and back together again. The seeing was not to bad Saturday night so out it came to get this shot of the Pleiades which is a good test for the old girl!!. It was a bit hazy from all the bush fires which made for more sky glow than what I am used to usually so more processing to get rid of all that green and gradient..
Picture is a stack of 11 frames at 5 min at 800 iso with DF removed and processed in PS..
Quiet happy with the results!.. My other attempts of this over the last few years were not so good.
Cheers Gary

Thanks Lee, Houghy, Tony, Lester, Eric and Zane for the kind remarks. Thanks Ric and JJJnettie too.
Sorry to hear about those trees Eric would be a nice shot for your new 350d, I only have one gum tree to worry about to the southeast which blocks up to 45% from the horizon so not to bad.
Shes a nice mount Lee just is a pain having to align it everytime I set it up...need that pier made soon!! You must be mastering that big beast you have too....
Look forwards to your shot Zane will be a killer I say like the horsehead!!

Tried friday night to image M45 but was soo hazy that you could only see the very brightest parts so ended up all deleted..
Cheers..
