Lost another good friend.....

It's not been a good week so far....
After twenty years I've lost my Swiss Army knife!
This is the third one I've had since the early 1960's - the first disappeared somewhere around the mid 1970's - replaced with a "Mountaineer" - that got lost in Lake Muskoka, Ontario in the early 1990's and replaced by a "Climber" Swiss knife.
This survived many (MANY) moves around the world and the upgraded airport security - now, for some unknown reason I've lost it!
Bumma....

Sorry to hear of your loss Ken.
I lost mine a few years ago when we moved house and I still haven't bought a replacement. The one I lost travelled with me to Africa, Europe and Asia and I used to be able to carry it in a leather clip belt pouch on planes (pre Sept 11 of course).
The funniest story was when I was travelling with a Scot who dismissed the Swiss knives as rip offs and went on to show me his just as good Made in China version. He inserted the corkscrew into a bottle of red, then pulled it out, except the screw is now a straight piece of wire and the cork remained in the bottle. All the other backpackers rolled on the floor laughing (I think we were onto our 3rd bottle by that stage!).
Hope you find it soon.
Bo

Yeah!
The Swiss army knife leaves the others for dead - will last a lifetime (if you don't loose it!)
I never did find a good use for the hooky tool.....

I just heard about THESE... What an amazing peice of design ingenuity! Interchangeable links to suit what you'd commonly use, even a watch face, to disguise the fact that you're a guy wearing a bracelet

I have very little practical use for one of these, but I still can't wait to own one... Lol
