My thoughtful brother

My brother always puts a lot of thought into birthday gifts for me.
He always has.
I'm the exact opposite! I'm terrible and usually leave gift buying
until it's a last minute rush.

He's a DIY / handyman type just like me and we both get it from Dad.

Knowing how much this hobby means to me, this is what he came up
with one year which was really thoughtful of him.
A handmade set of coasters, all printed off using his home printer,
waterproofed and stuck to wood backing.
And a nice touch, a holder for them as well.

Steve

WoW!! I wish I was as thoughtful to my brother / sister... I should really try harder and will. You seem to be really proud of them, as would I.

Does he know you posted this? If not you should tell him..

I can appreciate the amount of work he put in... Did he cut the disks himself or have them made? Either way they are TOPS!!!

Very nice indeed Steve. Your bro could be onto a nice little earner there as they certainly look good enough to sell commercially.

Another update:

Yes he has been rewarded Ric,
not that Pete wanted any fuss made, that's the sort of bloke he is.

He won the award for outstanding bravery today

They made up this T shirt for me knowing what Carl means to me.

That is really cool.
Buy me a model of any space craft (mercury to the Orion) and I'd be happy.
My gift to me last year was a 1/72 Saturn I've still not quite finished.
1/12 Mercury next
