Help me find someone please...

Hi all.

To accurately trace the history of a Newtonian mirror I have owned for many years I have been searching for a Mr Alan Hatcher who lived in the Minto area in the southern surrounds of Sydney around 1993. I would guess he was probably 30+ years old at the time.

I have googled and followed all the leads that I have including contacting the Baptist Churches in the region and head office (as I thought he was associated with the Baptist Church when I knew him). But no luck at all.

As he owned an 18" dobsonian in the early 1990's I'm assuming he must have been known at least by other amateur astronomers at the time.

Does anyone know of Alan and can help put me into contact with him? Or of any further leads I can follow up myself.

Sorry can't help but have you tried the Macarhur Astronomical Society? You mention his address as being in Minto. Got to be worth a shot at least they maybe able to put you in touch.
