Comet C/2013 V5 (Oukaimeden) August 09

Last shot before full moon. This comet may reach naked eye next month. Fingers crossed!

Comet C/2013 V5 (Oukaimeden) 2014 August 09 1900UT, SW ED100 at F7.2, 40 x 30 seconds, Pentax K-5. Some interference from moonlight. Presently about magnitude 10-ish. Just below Betelgeuse.

Thanks Justin. It's shaping up to be a nice comet. It should brighten rapidly. They are predicting magnitude 5 for September.
