EOI: Vixen Polarie
I am thinking of selling my Vixen Polarie as I'm just not using it. As usual, bought with grand plans in mind that never quite materialised.
It's in excellent condition. Comes with original box and instructions.
I bought a new Vanguard ball head for attaching the camera to the Polarie. It has easily held my 40D and old manual lenses up to 200mm f/3.5. The ball head was around $95 new. I'll check the model number later.
Unfortunately most of this gear never got used beyond testing on my balcony, although I did take the Polarie to IISAC last year. Since then my time has been too limited to make good use of it.
I have no fixed price in mind at the moment as I haven't decided for sure if I'm selling. Sensible offers considered.
Happy to consider trades, especially for nice eyepieces. As you can see from my other ads, I'm looking for a decent zoom.
