Mt Magnet Astro Festival

Hi Guys, we are at presently at Leonora, and will be heading toward Mt Magnet in the next day or so.

I happened to Google Mt Magnet and discovered that they have an Astro Festival of sorts with lots of great things to do and see.

Just wondering if anyone here has attended this event.

No, but I think its kind of an outreach exercise for the SKA and ICRAR, and an opportunity for locals to look through a telescope. Hey, you'll have to go along and tell us all about it! There has been a bit of discussion about it in the Perth astro circles but I don't know who is travelling up for it. I recall last year was well attended and considered successful.
