There's fun to be had with galaxies in Virgo. NGC5746 is a mag 10.6 galaxy and the smaller NGC5740 at mag 11.9. The bright star at the bottom is 109 Virgo at mag 3.7. Due to my silly indoor observatory I had to shoot these at low elevation to get them.
This is a crop of the full frame, which has a fair bit of coma. If I'm lucky the postman should deliver a nice new Baader MKIII coma corrector tomorrow.
6 inch F5 Newtonian, 71 x 30 second subs at ISO 3200, Pentax K-x on an HEQ5 Pro unguided.
