Joining hexagonal tube rings - left right threaded knob?

The tube rings that came with my FS60CB and Borg 50mm have a central 6mm threaded hole top and bottom. I would like to mount the Borg on the Tak by joining bolting the tube rings together, and imagine a left / right thread top and bottom of a knurled ring, if there is such a thing. I won't be the first to think of this but can't readily find a supplier/fabricator.

Is there a supplier within Aus? Or should I have them made up?

Why not just thread a 6mm stud into the Tak ring then spin the Borg ring onto it till tight, if they don't line up, you can just place either a washer or a thin spacer to take up some of the thread to get the rings lined up.

Thanks Matt. That will work, and I have been doing things that way for a long time. I was hoping for a little more sophistication. It's worth a try. Might save some $$$.
