what a Blonk... Taking shots of the Constellation of Orion and didn't realise that a pole was creeping into the picture so I was only able to stack 3 minutes of exposures.
Canon 6D with 50mm F1.4 @ F2.8 5 X 40 secs for a total of 3.3 minutes exposure. Tracked with a SkyTracker. Only just getting the faint Barnard's loop showing on the right hand side. I'll remember to keep a clear field next time.
This lens blew me away 60 second exposures at f 1.4 were totally over exposed??? The other problem was very marked seagulls at the edges of the Full Frame.
