Thanks Logan

I am currently using a C14 on an EQ8.
Getting to about 8m FL with a 2x barlow and using an ASI120mm camera with Custom Scientific BVR filters.

Regards
Maurice

Impressive image Maurice. You do a great job producing them without processing artifacts.

Beautiful Maurice - nice shots of Olympus Mons coming into view.

I was too tired from imaging this week to get up this morning but looks like conditions were good for you.

John.

Thanks Trevor.
I'm hoping that we'll have a Mars apparition with decent seeing down here...for a change..

Yes, I use Firecapture. I have been running 50% gain @ 50FPS with R & V filters & then about 70% gain & 35FPS with the B filter. All captures are about 140s long in a 240x320 window. I am expecting some new filters, so I think these settings might change soon.

No Mark, I don't use a flip mirror.
I just center the planet with an eyepiece & then change it for the camera.

Cheers
