Thumbs down This may offend

I decided to settle in with the air con on last night, and watch a Sci-Fi.
To my horror I read the program caption. The description sounded promising
until:.....

I was disgusted. It is an insult to the audience as a whole. A typo is acceptable but not this. I may have opened a can of worms.

Cheers

Obviously an autocorrect error... it also got the support actress Anney Hillated's name wrong as well.

That is disappointing.

I get more annoyed by news websites that apparently publish without proof-reading. I could go into a long rant about falling standards and Gen Y's short attention span and lack of attention to detail, but I'm sure you know how that goes.

Hi Mitchell,

Its fiction. but if you must know the 'commit' was blown up. However a large fragment smacked into the Atlantic. 1000Mph tsunami climbing to 3500ft destroyed all on the East coast USA. Waters were to reach 600 miles inland.

What the writers neglected was: with such forces active people would be killed by the shock wave advancing in front of the tsunami.

Oh! Bug... er it. Its only fiction. I rate it as watchable on a cloudy night.

Cheers

Speaking of mistooks... Weatherzone reckons is going to be sunny at 3am. Is Nova Centauri going supernova or something?

They don't call Queensland "The Sunshine State" for nothing.

Hehe, on Midsomer Murders the other night a suspect was asked what he was doing on the night of a murder. He replied that he had spent all night in his observatory because there was a transit of Venus happening! Later on the suspect was murdered, not sure why but hopefully for telling such an outrageous porkie.

Wow! Really? Must be one of them superjupiters.

Anyway, surely for the AMericans in the Western hemisphere, Jupiter rises in the West? That's how it works, ain't it?
