Methinks that it is all about seeking funding rather than seeking a dark matter candidate.
Oh how cynical but there are a few too many spongy words for me to get excited...may...is used just a little too much.
Nevertheless it's a start for my enquiry if there is anything in it it will get discussed on a forum here or elsewhere there must be a paper.
I like what Vera Rubin once said to the effect that she would prefer an adjustment to our take on gravity rather than seek a new particle. Mind you I may have cherry picked that to suit my views on gravity at that time.
Dark matter is something I find difficult to accept.
It is hard to believe there is matter we can only detect by gravitational influence but so far the evidence seems strongly suggest that it is a fact.
So I really hope this latest news takes us somewhere.
