Good service from Coronado

I sent my PST to Coronado for repair due to a deteriorating objective last month and got it back a few days ago. They were good to deal with, with the exception of slow email responses. The objective on the repaired scope is transparent. The filter that was between the objective lenses has been shifted to the eyepiece end in the redesigned instrument. I've only had one brief chance to use the PST (between clouds) and the prominences looked very sharp.

I sent my scope to Coronado directly as it was purchased in the US.

It is good to hear stories of good customer service, I think that is something the Americans excell at.

well my PST is with Coronado having the objective fixed...might take a few weeks to get it back In the meantime I have to make do with SoHO
