SGP and heq5pro

Hi guys, I recently bought SGP and have had a night out to try it. I am a little unsure as to what I am able to get it to do. Firstly, I usually use pulse guiding through EQmod. I have found that if I have EQmod open before I connect to it in SGP it will not connect. That is no problem, I just close it and connect in SGP, but then when opening PHD and selecting ASCOM EQ5/6 as my mount control it will not connect. Is anyone using pulseguiding and SGP in conjunction?

The other question is, do people need to use a pointing model before they get SGP to do an autocenter? I assume I can just let it make its own with the sync and solve functions it does.

It seems like a great package, with a little playing around It should be able to flip the mount and let me sleep a little more !
