TheSkyX Pro and Transit Altitude

SkyX users,

Is there a method to get TSX Pro to report Transit Altitude of a object within the object detail window (or else where)? Transit time is readily available, but no Transit Altitude.

I've trawled the manual and read the help file, next stop Bisque forum if this can't be answered here.

Thanks

Not the solution you're looking for, but you can read the object's transit time in Find->Object Information Report, set the date & time within TheSkyX to that date & time and then read the object's current altitude. For the Sun this is easy because you can Set Specific Time to "Sun Transit." Either Set Specific Time to "Now" or check the "Prohibit all times changes and force "Use computer clock' check box to quickly get the date & time back to normal.

Better yet, you could write a small javascript code snippet to do what you want and add it as a button. (The SB website has documentation on how to write them.)

Cheers Ernie. My Javascript is rusty but worth a shot. I'd hit the SB forum for the info you mention.
