Ngc1365

This was taken at the last new moon weekend at Wiruna. I ran out of time, so the exposure is a bit short (2hrs), but still quite a pleasing result.

Nice detail Geoff. If only you had more time on it. I really like the image scale too. Not too close and not too wide.

Thanks Paul. Thanks to digital imaging, more time can always be added.

Sensational image Geoff. Everything is working nicely together.

You've got to be pleased with that.

Greg.

Very nice image, Geoff, especially considering the short integration time.

That's a very nice NGC1365 Geoff. Obviously your equipment is working very well for you.

Cheers

Ah a classic galaxy that huh? A real magnet for an imaging ring like yours If I am honest though.. it's not quiiiite as good as your NGC 7793, it looks a little over sharpened/processed to me this time, lacks variation in colour - especially red seems to be missing from the arms and the background is looking a bit splodgy..but that said (didn't mean to sound overtly critical) it is still a good image of this awesome looking galaxy Geoff
