Lunt LS100-B1800

Hey guys,i am strongly considering buying the following solar scope for sun imaging, the Lunt LS100THa/PT/B1800/FT as iv gathered the 1800 is better for imaging?

Also ill be using my Nikon d800e for most my imaging, whats to expect from a FF SLR over a CCD i know CCD's are much more cooler in temps...although image wise what considerable differences are there,i usually use my Slr for alot of my moon imaging and can't complain about the quality.

Any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated before i go out and buy one, cheers all.

A Lunt 100 is a significant investment in telescope real estate!!!
If you want value from such an investment, a DSLR won't cut it.
The prefered imaging solution is a fast, large, mono, video camera.
The DMK41 and DMK51 make a good choice.....
This allows "freezing" of the daytime seeing conditions and multi-stacking for improved definition.....

Thanks for the information, will def consider a ccd after all. i guess the DMK51 would be the better one over the DMK41? or Should i consider something better than both,i guess my budget for the ccd would be not more than $2500
