It Pays to Shop Around

... even for the little things.

I bought a 5m Ethernet cable today to extend SynScan handset distance, and paid $6 at MSY. Pretty good, I thought.

Out of curiosity, I went into another shop (Ed's PCs at my local shopping centre) and found the same cable (same brand, spec, length, colour - the identical product) selling for $29.99. That's 5 times the price!

As the saying goes, it pays to shop around.

I love MSY, we have one just up the road from us, and there prices are great.

Or the usual...

Synscan EQ5 GOTO kit - $595 at my usual serious ( ) astro shop in Brissy, or $795 "at absolute rock bottom, I am making ZERO profit" from another shop in Melbourne.

You'd easily pay $5 or more for a coffee in London, but bread and milk are a lot less than that

Between $1.50 and $6.50 for a loaf of bread here depending on the brand although milk $2 for 2 liters is cheap
