Ngc 55

Hi All,

NGC 55 from last night.

LHaRGB, 60, 120, 60, 60, 60 mins. Luminance and Ha blended for a master luminance.

Larger version here

Cheers
Stuart

P.S. I have done some fiddling in PS with Paul's NGC 55 image, using it to colour my image, a video comparison is available here, or will be in about 45 minutes...

The three cropped images are mine first, Paul's second and a combination, using Paul's to colour mine.

Nice work Stuart.
Last night was the first clear night in Melbourne for ages.
I wish I'd got out & had a go too.

cheers
Allan

Just goes to show what living on different sides of Melbourne can do, last night here was cloudy. Unless you mean Tuesday night, in which case it was great.

There are other nights when my mate in Bacchus Marsh sends me a message about how clear it is, but I'm all clouds.

Cheers

Yes it was Tuesday night that it was clear.
Quite a few other nights just before it started out clear
& I was tempted to set my system up but I was glad I didn't
as the clouds rolled over by 9pm & stayed.

Sharp focus with long diffraction spikes.

That is the holy grail.

Nice work.
