First Horse Head, Small Magellanic Cloud and M31 with good old M42 reshot

Hi all

These are from my last outing (first time in a few months due to the weather). The horse head nebula has always alluded me so it is great to finally get it. Even though M31 was right down on the horizon i though i would give it a go and see what would happen and i am pretty please with the result.

Nice Paul. You got my favourite, M31. I've been trying to get it for years. Now that I've got all the equipment, I've only got to wait for a decent clear night with minimal light pollution. Every clear night we've had up here in Cairns recently has been filled with cane fires in the distance, fire plus smoke equals bad light pollution.

Yeah it was really low behind the trees for most of my evening. Light pollution isn't too bad but it was right over northam just to the north of where i was. My main problem was mossies the size of a 747 biting me through even my jeans i need to look into some sort of AAA to take them down

Thank you all for the comments

I like your horsie, it's one of my favourites.

The weather here hasn't been favorable for me to get enough subs, and now it's too hot for faint nebs like this.
