324 Bamberga at near-perihelion opposition
During the bright moon this week I wondered if this asteroid would be a good target.... well it's bright enough! The two subs used were taken 38 minutes apart. Was nice to see such movement, proved I had slewed to the right place....

that's pretty cool - did you get the other shot you were after for the other sequence you are doing?

Lee, it appears your two images were taken at about 21:12 AEST and 21:50 AEST on Sep 17th.

Any idea what the other moving object near 324 is? It isn't showing up in CdC and I have about 17000 asteroids loaded. About a third of the way from UCAC4-479-132135 to UCAC4-479-132130

CdC rotated/flipped the image.

Thanks mate... Yes, got that one too, seeing was OK on the 17th, dodging clouds, then absolutely dreadful on the 18th when totally clear...

My PC stamped them 2122 and 2200h... pretty close....
Not sure on what the other object is, I figured could be hot pixel or something, I didn't bother with darks/stacking for these, and they are single frames..... I'll stack some and see what happens....

That's pretty cool. I should take more of an interest in asteroids. Something to do in a full moon.
