First attempt at the Sun this morning

Had my first go at the sun this morning with a 4" solar filter placed over my 12.5". No Powermate, just the SCP900 plugged straight into the focuser.

Interesting stuff, with focusing being a real challange!

Best 300 frames simply stacked in Registax.

Please provide your comments and thoughts on solar imaging as I need all the help I can get!

John.
