Core of the Lagoon

I have just started to learn how to use startools for processing and
just for fun reprocessed an old image of M8

Lagoon Nebula M8

400 x 25 sec subs at iso 1600
12' LX200 (ALT/AZ setup NO Guiding)
Sony Nex-3 DSLR
Processed in DSS, Gimp and Startools

How do you find Startools? Wayne. I see quite a few experienced ppl using it with excellent images

You've brought up some excellent details in the core.

+1 for startools. Its noise reduction is second to none.

Thanks everyone, I think I am really going to like using Startools for processing it really helps bring out the detail.
