Antares

G'day

I managed to get this picture last night.

22x 30 sec exposures
at ISO 800 with a 50mm lens at F2 on my home made horseshoe mount.

Im just a newbe at this so all comments welcome.

PS. is there a way to post a bigger photo? I think this one is pretty small.

Hi Jo,

That's very good!

You got a lot for the exposure time, like the colour.
From what I can see the processing looks quite good too.
What software are you using for processing?

Cheers,

Justin.

G'day Justin

I used Nebulosity3 for the stacking and Aperture for post processing.

Glad you like it.

I got a bit bigger picture here.

Thanks Pete, yeah Im pretty happy with the detail, I did a drizzle stack so the full size picture is around 70MP, quite nice for zooming up on some of the star clusters.
