Saturday morning Milky Way and friends

Hi all,

Here's my first attempt at a stacked panorama using Microsoft ICE. 7x30 second portrait images taken with the Tokina 11-16mm lens at f/2.8 and 3200 iso, just before the start of astronomical twilight. I'm impressed with how easily this software stiched the images.

There's a larger version here

The in the second image I set my S100 compact camera to give a burst of flash to illuminate me during a 30 sec exposure.

Both taken from Warrill View, 45 minutes south west of Brisbane.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Nice Work Stephen, Microsoft ICE is an amazing bit of software isnt it. Stitches panos like nothing else I've seen, hopefully it stays freeware for sometime

Looks good Stephen. The pano has richer colours and expoure from the multiple shots and the overlaps.

Greg.
