A new supernova has been discovered

My dad saw this in the Italian newspaper (il Globo). Here is an article about it here.

Here is some more information about this supernova. Great to see the newspaper was interested in it. Thanks to your dad and to you Stefan for the link, it is quite faint but non the less interesting. Even in Italian you get the gist.
The ISSP - Italian Supernova Search Project have been finding quite a few.
