NGC5139 - Wide field

An unplanned capture. I was working on another project last night and got caught out by the clocks going back so rather than mess with flips I decided to see if I could improve on last years colourless effort on this glob.

110 minutes, ISO400, 300 sec subs

NGC5139 Omega Centauri Widefield

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful rendition. Great star colors. So sharp and flat field.

Great shot David. Not overexposed which is easy to do.

Mike
the story gets interesting when I realised I was a milometer away from munting the motorised focusser on the moonlight against the pier. sheer luck that I did a scope check. Have "readjusted" that PDQ. Can't Ascom that one away.

cheers
