Hello everyone - FINALLY I have the program and guest speakers etc finalised. Pleased to announce that the international visitors this year will include Don Goldman, Ron Wodaski, Jay Gabany and Adam Block. Each of the internationals will be delivering a 90 minute workshop and a 45 minute presentation over the 3 days on the conference (23rd to 25th August). Venue is the same as 2011.

Not to be outdone, our local presenters include Prof David Malin, Paul Haese, Greg Bradley, Marcus Davies, Anthony Wesley to name just a few. For a full program and line up go to www.aaic2013.com.

Our sponsors this year include our Major sponsor FLI, Apogee Cameras, ATIK cameras (just got on board), Australian Sky and telescope as well as several other I hope to announce very soon.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to post them here or email me (bolton@onthenet.com.au). Thanks again to Chris Malikoff (Omaroo) for all the help.

Mark this is FANTASTIC!
The list of presenters is absolutely world class top notch. I know the blood, sweat and tears you put in for 2011. I am astonished you are bringing this together again. What you and your team presented in 2011 was incredibly professional, so very informative, fun and friendly. I am sure many took away much from the conference and that has upskilled them in their imaging over the last 2 years. I believe we are seeing the fruit from that here on IIS.
Folks don't miss this opportunity, so much talent, skill and knowledge in the same room is mind blowing and we get to hear about it first on IIS.

Don't suppose there is any Group code or some sort of discount attendee's may use if we wish to stay at the Crown Plaza for two nights?

I go overseas for holiday the week after so may not be able to get the friday off, but will look at getting there for Saturday/sunday.

gday Nathan

If you use the registration process at www.aaic2013.com you will get what they refer to as the "conference Rate"it should be discounted. Two things but - you dont have to stay at the venue - there are a plethora of hotelsd and motels within short walking distance and secondly keep an eye on things like lastminute.com and wotif.com - their rates are sometimes cheaper than the hotels.

Hope tyo catch you there

Mark

ps anyone has questions just look for the short bald guy at the IISAC this coming weekend - happy to answer what I can
