Jupiter 5th April

Jupiter from last night, about 20deg up. Very poor seeing and telescope pointed just above a friendly neighbourhood streetlight. Not too much detail apparently but the Great Red Spot looks to be me to be getting smaller/more circular over time.

Well done Tom, given the conditions. Jupiter is getting harder to image at this time of the year.

Great effort Tom and I agree the GRS appears somewhat smaller
