Lemmon from the Pony Club

Quick photo of Comet Lemmon taken last night from the Pony Club in the company of a few Ice In Space members. It is left of centre. It is quite near the south celestial pole- you can see the SMC and 47 Tuc on the upper right. I have included a crop of the photo. Canon 7D Sigma 50mm F1.4. Stack of 11 x 10 second frames. It is about mag 6 now but could not be seen with the unaided eye due to the skyglow.

Nice John!

Comet Lemmon and the SMC will good for the next week for widefield shots.

Cheers,
