LX200R Groaning While Slewing In DEC

This started happening about 2 months ago and appears to be getting worse. Only happens when slewing upwards. Has anyone any idea what might be causing this and a possible solution to the problem. The scope is balanced and tracks well.

rob the lx200 yahoo users group has many files and pictures...i'm sure there is info in there..costs nothing to join
