M83 testing out new telescope

Just would like to share my first WIP image using my new telescope. I only have 4hrs of LUM data. But the spiral details are starting to coming in nicely.
Images are in 4min subs and with no guiding. I'm imaging in bin 2 which gives me a scale of 0.61 arc sec/ pixel.

Telescope - Planewave CDK 14 f7.2
Mount - 10micron GM3000
Camera - QHY600M bin2

Welcome to the CDK club!

A great first light. Lots of detail.

I find the CDK design very forgiving and easy to use compared to RC scopes.

Greg.

Thanks Greg

I’m very happy with the scope, no more stuffing around. I’ll be getting a lot of fun out of it.
