False Colour RGB image of Venus with 12.5"

Hi everyone,

Image of Venus taken on the morning of April 17th from Brunswick in Melbourne.

An RGB composite R(IR685), Synthetic Green, B(W47 and IR cutoff).

Taken with a 12.5" F/5, 5 x Barlow, ADC and 290mm camera.

500 of the best frames for each channel.

Processed in Registax 6 and Photoshop.

That's an amazing image of Venus!
I think I need a bigger telescope, 8" scopes don't give me anything like that.
What is the 5 times Barlow used?
I did buy a cheap Chinese thing some years back and it was absolute rubbish (I should have expected that for the price in all fairness), now I own a Powermate 5 times which is much better but I haven't done any planetary viewing as of yet with it, one day.
