My dreams are coming true (we're building an observatory(:

Hi all: Finally it's going to be 10X10 feet. And we've already got the

concrete poured (by a contractor) to 6" thick. It looks like a good job

so far. And even though I'm planning on using mostly a tripod and at first,

we've got 4, 1/2 rods in the center for a future pier if enough money and

needed. The only thing is that the rods are a little loose. The guy

pushed them in when the concrete was wet then moved them around. If

put under tension, I think they wouldn't shift. But what do people here

think?
