It works OK with an 8mm EP (129x); but I usually just trot it out on mosquito-free full moon nights with a 16mm Orion Edge-On EP (64x) that gives me a perfect view of a highly detailed full moon edge-to-edge. I've got a thing for the moon, dating back to 1969 in Washington DC when I produced an LP record, jacket and brochure with live dialogue and photos from the July moon landing.
