Hi all

If you've ever wanted to see the spiral arm structure of other galaxies in our universe, or see the gaseous dusty nebulosity from far away regions where stars are being born, or see magnificent globular clusters containing a million stars bound by their combined gravity - then the IceInSpace AstroCamp 2008 (IISAC2008) is for you!

If you've never been out under dark skies, away from the city glow to see the brilliant Milky Way stretching overhead, then the IISAC2008 is for you!

IceInSpace AstroCamp 2008 is a star party, organised and run by me through my astronomy website, IceInSpace. It's being held over 3 nights, from the 30th October to the 2nd November 2008, at Lostock Scout Camp, Lostock, in the beautiful Hunter Valley area of NSW. It's only 4 hours drive from Sydney, and you'll be amongst clear, very dark skies in a lovely country setting.

There is bunkbed and camping accommodation available, there is amenity blocks with hot showers, flush toilets and full power.

There'll be up to 200 or more space and astronomy enthusiasts attending, most with telescopes - but you don't need a telescope to come along. Everyone is more than willing to share the views through their telescope, and there will be sky tours conducted each night where you'll be able to view the universe through large 18" to 25" telescopes. (examples here and here).

Everyone is welcome, bring the family along, and share some views and experiences you never thought you'd see.

For more information, more pictures, prices, and to book - please see the IISAC page at:

Please feel free to email me if you've got any questions.

Feel free to promote it to your work colleagues as well!
