I totally agree with your sentiments. We should also put to question not so much the quality, but the ability to influence societal change with the current run of "reality" programs. In my days, being found DUI was not "normal" or even humorous as 'RBT' makes out. Marriage was a sacred trust between two people, not something to be altered or disregarded as "The Switch", or whatever it is makes out. Whilst the programmers may regard these as to be 'entertaining' people, I have no doubt whatsoever that they are lowering peoples moral standards and ethics to a degree which is not acceptable.
