Thanks Mike and IIS’ers

Yes – I was quite surprised as they were from a set of images I sent in a long time ago, around 11th April. I wondered what was going on as I suddenly started to receive a heap of e-mails from people asking about my special equipment and techniques!

A very polite gentleman from the Yokohama Science Center asked for permission to use the image and another guy sent me a link to Akira Inaka’s website, a Japanese 3-D specialist – well worth a look. Link below.

To answer some of the e-mails, it was very helpful to have Mike’s article on webcam imaging in the Projects, Articles, DIY Guides and How-To's section at:

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/index.p...63,201,0,0,1,0

as I was able to point to this to dispel the myth surrounding the “special equipment and techniques” that I apparently have. I received a couple of grateful replies.

It was interesting to note that I received a couple of enquiries from amateurs with C11’s, giving me the impression that there are people out there with these high end telescopes who were not familiar with the art of webcam imaging.

Cheers

Dennis
