I recently purchased a full spectrum modified Canon EOS 600D and today received in the mail a Baader 1.25" U Filter (UV pass).
Having already seen Ivan's (lepton3) fantastic work (eg here:
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=112007 ) I couldn't wait to see what my camera setup could do.
Here is a stack of about 700 frames of video taken using the modified Canon EOS 600D, a 5x Powermate, the Baader U filter, and a 12" Sky Watcher Goto Dobsonian, manually tracked.
I shot with Auto White Balance and Auto picture style, and I've reproduced the colour as seen by the camera.
Also attached is a single video frame.
