problem with drivers with maximDL /Windows 7 etc

I have got my SSAG/Atik camera/USBFW and QHY 8 all working with Maxim DL on a 32 bit vista machine, then I went and upgraded the machine! (64 bit W7)
Now I have Maxim DL which won't recognise the drivers I have imported for the above-please help.
I have removed and re- loaded a few times and Maxim seems not to find the drivers

I think it may be related to the ASCOM version, but in the ASCOM profiler I can't work out how to change it so it recognises the drivers I imported

NB I have the latest 6.0 something on the W7 but all the drivers need 5.5 and it advises not to back track on versions on the ASCOM website.

Perhaps use Revo Uninstaller (free version) to uninstall all - this soft ware allow you to remove bits & pieces that get left behind after any uninstallation - and then re-install with ASCOM ver 5.5 first and only after everything is working upgrade to ASCOM ver 6.0 - that's how I did mine on both the laptop and desktop and everything worked straight off
