Hi
I dragged the venerable SBIG ST7E (Manufacturer/Model) CCD camera out of mothballs and set about cleaning the VERY DIRTY CCD window and glass cover.
On the left, a flat field before cleaning. On the right, a flat field from last night after cleaning.
I used an icing cake spatula (with a trimmed rubber tip), PEC Pads and Eclipse cleaning fluid and it is the FIRST TIME, ever, where I have cleaned off more stuff than I put on!
Here is the website that inspired me:
http://www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com/index.html
Here is where I purchased the PEC Pads and Eclipse cleaning fluid:

Cheers
