HI all
I am trying out Google Chrome and like some of its clever features.
However, when I click on Astronomy Forums all I get is a blank page.
I had a look in Tools and Settings but Cannot find anything that seems to cure the problem.
Any Ideas?

Cheers

Nev ... Can't help yah mate ... ditch it ... and go FireFox.
Google Chrome is ' rife ' with tracking bugs.

Disable the Sandbox and try again.
See if that helps.
Failing that, follow FlashDrives suggestion and get rid of it.

Both very strange suggestions from above.

I use Chrome all the time, no problems displaying the forum. I know many people who use chrome.

In some tech savvy target markets, Chrome is now the #1 browser.

It's fast! and modern.

I'm not sure why you get a blank page. Try when you're logged in or out of the google account, try a fresh install, do you have any plugins or blockers that might be blocking something?

Can't find the sandbox. I am going to get rid of it.
I know about the tracking issues...too snoopy. I have not registered it in an effort to minimise that.

It's gone

Thanks all

Re-installed it and pickle me grandmother, it works!!

Mike,
I have noticed that it is faster than IE9 and Firefox and I like the way favourites are displayed, really neat.
I have not signed in to Chrome...I don't know whether that makes any difference to its snooping. I intend to find out more about it, particularly whether it is more secure than Firefox.

Cheers

I've been using chrome for awhile now & really like it. I've never signed in to anywhere though..

Good to hear it's now working for you.

If you link Chrome to your google account by signing in, your bookmarks will follow you around from computer to computer.
