A dingo trapper from down Warwick way called me today, his neighbour has a fibreglass dome observatory,he was going to cut up and make a cubby for kids. But my trapper friend thought some astronomers could use it,and told him to wait.
So he gave me contact details-Don Brown ph 07 46648240 the owner might want a $100 or so for it.Not sure on size details.
But it might suit someone at Leyburn, its not too far away.Hope this might help someone here.
Cheers Chris

I also spoke with Don, and he mentioned someone was taking a look this weekend. Dave if you could take and share some pics that would be fantastic. From what I can gather its a Concrete Water Tank structure with a Fiberglass home made dome on top. If it is as described then this would be to heavy for transport with the tank. I just wonder if the fiberglass dome could be salvaged and reused on a different structure.

Sorry guys, the location I was going to use for this dome has fallen through so I can no longer acquire this dome as I have nowhere for it. :(
I hope someone here can make use of it!
I haven't been able to get through to Don yet to let him know but I've left a message.
Dave.
